Learn More
I am a PhD candidate in Telecommunication Engineering at the biometrics and data pattern analytics lab (BidaLab), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in computer vision using deep learning and corresponding threats. In particular, the security and privacy concerns that need to be addressed for a safe use of artificial intelligence.
BACKGROUND
I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the Islamic Azad University, in Iran, in 2011, and my M.S. in Informtion Security and Assurance in 2016. Since 2021, I've been working on biometrics using computer vision, and deep learning with a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholarship in the EU ITN research program PriMa. Throughout my doctoral research, I specialized in machine learning where I investigated state-of-the-art computer vision problems including adversarial examples, image morphing, and federated learning on deep neural networks and I published my findings in prestigious venues.
